Underground Injection Control Data

Every saltwater disposal well, enhanced-recovery injector and storage well in Texas is permitted through the Underground Injection Control programme and tracked in the UIA010 database. The file carries the permit numbers, the approved injection interval, the maximum authorised pressure and daily volume, the monitoring requirements attached to the permit, and the remarks the district office recorded.

This is the dataset that answers questions about produced-water disposal, and it is the one most often asked for after an induced-seismicity story.
